Description
This one-day, certified CME program begins with a refresher on large, medium joints, and lumbar spine epidural and facet joint injection techniques and fluoroscopic image generation.
The first half of the course will start with optimizing X-ray beam to generate the clearest possible MSK images. Participants will then learn how to identify key anatomical landmarks for large and medium joints. Participants will then practice joint injections with fluoroscopic guidance.
The second half of the course will delve deeper into lumbar spine bio-skills such as epidural injections, interlaminar and transforaminal injections, lumbar facet joint injections and median branch blocks, as well as lumbar RF ablations.
Participants will gain hands-on experience with lumbar spine and joint injections using our silicon and rubber models, porcine cadaver, and with real fluoroscopic dye visualization under a C-arm.
